Sade – Cherish The Day

I have a really bad habit of justifying all of my cheesier pop culture-type posts by labeling them as cliche, guilty pleasures, etc. Screw it. No more. I love this stuff. And here is a perfect example:

I heard this on the airplane coming back to NYC. You know how they always have the volume really low in the cabin when you are boarding or taxi-ing to the gate? When we landed in NYC, they played this song. It is so incredibly simple. The beat, the guitar, her voice, and it was the perfect volume: real low, like you may have playing in your bedroom 🙂

Sade was frequently played in the Wells household growing up.
